Pole Position

What is the Pole Position rule?

Pole Position is a variant sudoku rule: the first digit of each row gives the column holding that row's 1, and the first digit of each column gives the row holding that column's 1.

In every puzzle here the setter’s own rules text is shown beside the board, so the exact wording for the puzzle you are solving is always one glance away. All normal sudoku rules apply unless the setter says otherwise.
