What is the Doublers rule?

Doublers is a variant sudoku rule: there are N cells in the grid (one per row, column, and region) where the digit counts as double its value for the purposes of cage sums or other totals.

In every puzzle here the setter’s own rules text is shown beside the board, so the exact wording for the puzzle you are solving is always one glance away. All normal sudoku rules apply unless the setter says otherwise.
